Time flies when you’re busy changing diapers! No, that isn’t the saying…  but he has been the biggest joy in our lives!

Milestones

• 6 days – first photo shoot
• 1 week – umbilical cord fell off
• 1 week – first sponge bath
• 10 days – first tub bath
• 1 month – first smile
• 4-5 weeks – started cooing
• 8 weeks – slept 5 hrs at night, and 8hrs (but didn’t last)
• 10 weeks – your first back to front roll over
• Became VERY active in the crib and would move all around!
• 1.5 weeks – first repeating of “oooo” sound after Daddy’
• 12 weeks – slept on your tummy for the first time!
• 14 weeks – slept through the night!  A wonderful Christmas gift!
• 14.5 weeks – giggled for the first time!
• 14.5 weeks – rolled over from tummy to back
• 17 weeks – let you cry through night for first time, then you slept 10+hrs a night consistently
• 4 months – weighs 15lb 10oz (77% percentile), 23.75″ height (63%)
• 4 months – started solids (rice cereal, then oatmeal and veggies, grabbed spoon to feed himself!)
• 5+months – first plane trip – to ARUBA!
• 6 months – sat up by himself for first time…in crib for his bday
• 6+ months – first cold/fever
• 7 months – crawl!
• 7 months – new “Chucky” face started
• 7+ months – pull up to stand, 1 handed too, and climbing!
• 8 months – climbed a stair first try ever!
• 8 months – first two teeth at same time!
• 8.5 months – 3^rd tooth
• 8.5 months – started to walk with walker toy – and standing by self (not excited about it though)
• 9 months – pointing (sort of) by lifting his arm like he’s about to pontificate something important
• 9 months – babbling!  (ma, ba, ga, da, baba, ha), zerbert sounds
• 9 months – clapping
• 9 months – get down from couch by himself!  He turns around and gets down backwards!
• 10 months 2 weeks – clapping along with audience on tv
• 10 months 2 weeks – lots of pointing
• 10 months 3 weeks – heard “da da” once.  We said “da da?” and tyler said “yeah”!  What a smarty!
• 10 months – kisses!!!  Open mouth, but he comes to you to share a smooch!
• 10.5 months – understand shoes.  He will bring them to you one at a time and place at your feet
• 11 months – flush the toilet and unroll the toilet paper (so much fun!)
• 11 months – first 3 steps alone!
• 12 months – walking!
• 12 months – first hair cut
• 13 months – learned most things in his First 100 Words book – points (favorites are shoes, flowers and balls, then dog and cat)
• 13 months – understands a lot of what we say.  Will do a task we ask for.
• 13 months – DADDY’s BOY.  Loves himself some daddy time.  Sad when Daddy leaves for work.  Daddy Daddy Daddy!
• 14 months – ask for a hug and you get one!
• 16 months – molars coming through
• 18 months – signing “help”, “music”, “please” and “thank you”, says “up”
• 19 months – said “GG”, “Peach” and many other words!
